You do realize the team has no money to go sign anyone, we would have to make trades to improve. It would be extremely hard to find a trade that's going to improve the team enough to overcome the fact that we would have a new key cog on the team.

The team went 5 games against Miami (honestly should of won game 5 too), without Derrick Rose, Luol or Kirk. Add those guys back and we are better than we were last season. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Chicago atop the East standings at the end of the season.
Lakers just signed Nick Young for 1.2 Mil for ONE year. Kaman for 3 mil. etc.

Could it be too that Miami was also playing to the level of their competition?
I mean they needed 7 games vs a team that don't have a legit star PG.
