I think they missed the boat on makng Shump a point. Furthermore, I think this news (although not verified for certainty) is disheartening. Shumpert has worked on his game. The guy really didn't have an offseason last season and dramatically improved his jumpshot. He's only been in the league 2 years. For a guy that clearly came back tentative when he returned, you'd think they'd pace themselves with him. I understand you want him to improve. I just don't like the tone being set by giving guys ultimatums and threats.
But once again, that's assuming this is even true.
