Damian Lillard working out at Team USA mini-camp in Vegas
Damian Lillard went through his second day of practice and scrimmaging in the USA Basketball mini-camp here Tuesday and continued to show that he’s comfortable competing with 27 of the top young players in basketball.
Lillard said he wants to use the camp to improve his game so that he can make his team, the Trail Blazers, better in 2013-14.
When Lillard starts training camp in the fall, his own game won’t be the only part of the Blazers that has improved. A frenetic off-season has brought Portland seeming upgrades around their core four players of Lillard, LaMarcus Aldridge, Nicolas Batum and Wesley Matthews.
