Tim Brown was top 3 in all major stat categories when he retired I believe and he still can't get in. It took Carter numerous times to get in and he was 4th, 2nd and 2nd in the three major stats when he retired.

Smith is going to be lucky to end up top 10 in two categories and top 20 in another. He's not going to make it.

That's a poor analogy though bro.
When Cris Carter & Tim Brown were nominated; there were FAR less competition.

Smith on a per game basis has better numbers than Tim Brown.
