Default Sacramento Kings made some big contract decisions

Thursday's NBA deadline for contract extensions passed for first-round draft picks from 2010 with the Kings not coming to agreements with Patrick Patterson or Greivis Vasquez.

The Kings can make both players restricted free agents by extending qualifying offers after the season.

The Kings also declined to pick up the option on Jimmer Fredette's contract, which will make him an unrestricted free agent after the season.
