What ethnic group's got the best food?

black people food is mostly bbq in reality. Also, throw in some chitterlings, pigsfeet, and some hog head cheese and you are set. also, let me say something about common stereotypes:

1. Black people like orange and red kool-aid>purple(whether you believe or not it's true)
2.they like ribs>fried chicken
3.when we get catfish it is like a holiday
4.alot of black people throw up when they eat watermelon
5. we dont eat fried foods as much as we used to.

What kind of oil do you use in your Southern cuisine? Word is palm oil/coconut oil is status quo back in native Africa, but what about down here.

Chinese - Dan Dan, Lo Mien
Japanese - Ramen, anything with terayaki
Vietnamese - pho, bun (if anyone hasn't tried yet, try the 'bun bi cha gio' or 'bun bo hue'. you'll thank me later), mi, banh cuon, spring roll, mien
Mexican - Anything. Even tex-mex is good.
Italian - anything with penne, fettucine, rigatoni, ziti (especially baked ziti)
Greek + other Balkans - gyros, baba ghanouj, spanakopita
Thai - Spring Rolls, Pad Thai

what do you consider soul food?
my black english teacher(when i was in hs) invited us to her house for some soul food. she had fried chicken, collard greens, some other veggies and cornbread i think. i only ate chicken and cornbread. and she made us kool aid but it needed less sugar.

I go by black too hate the term "african-american" also fried chicken is overrated as hell. Id rather drink orange juice than kool-aid too(for health reasons and not the sunny d bs either)
