None of the conferences were particularly great, except maybe Ubisoft.

Damn, I didn't even realize that was going on last night. Well I am a premium member, I imagine they'll upload it eventually.

The last of us and Watch dogs came out of nowhere! Both look to be promising titles. Any estimated release dates for them?

The Last of Us has debuted for almost half a year, but Watch Dogs is new to the scene. The Last of Us should be out around the holiday season or the beginning of next year. Watch Dogs does not have an estimated release date.

    1) Watch_Dogs
    2) Star Wars 1313
    3) Last of Us
    4) Need For Speed Most Wanted
    5) South Park: The Stick of Truth

Those were the standouts for me, some other stuff I'll no doubt play when it comes out but didn't wow me. New Halo, Gears, God of War, and Assassin's Creed will probably be good, but I'm not that excited for them since I'm burned out on a lot these sequels. I'm ready for new consoles and new IPs. Nintendo pulled out a BB gun when I was expecting a ****ing missile launcher. Disappointing E3 overall so far, hopefully there will be some bright spots unveiled during the floor coverage.

And then you get on multiplayer to get killed over and over by some invisible asshole standing still. F*ck Halo and their retarded "armor abilities". No shooter in the world should allow players to go invisible, but it doesn't stop Ghost Recon and Halo I see. I didn't mind in Halo 3 when there were those orbs that gave you armor ability, but allowing people to pretty much do it at will is stupid.

Halo is dead. It has been something else since Reach.

Nintendo has been such a disappointment ever since the Wii.

They need to stop trying to sell the Wii U to "hardcore gamers". The graphics of the machine do not even look any better than the current generation. The new pad won't add anything to gaming that the "hardcore" audience desires. Time to shift towards the audience the device is really perfect for (and probably intended for): 6-14 year olds.

A large, sturdy touchscreen might have some control advantages for younger kids. The NFC technology has the potential to create a large Pokemon craze comparable to that of the late 90s. Focus on games like that: Pokemon, Skylanders, Mario Kart. Forget about more deep experiences for the moment.

    I rank it as

    Microsoft
    Nintendo
    Sony

Microsoft did pretty good IMO, but I am a Xbox fanboy so I know I'm probably somewhat Biased. Halo 4, BO 2, Tomb Raider, and Tom clancy looked good, But I think what sold for them is the other entertainment features. I use my Xbox for multiple functions, so it definitely interest me for all these APPs coming. NBA on Xbox is HUGE for me, and makes me one step closer to deciding on whether to just cancel my satellite since most of the stuff I watch is on Xbox now, including Watch ESPN which will have all the ESPN channels compared to just ESPN 3. And Smartglass is gonna be huge, especially since it should have connectivity to iOS devices, can't wait to see what game companies will take advantage of it. Then add the fact we finally get some kind of internet *coughs*porn*coughs* access, I give MS a 8.5/10.

Nintendo really surprised me, I was expecting to be bored and not caring, but some of the stuff really interested me. The 3DS department didn't really grab me, but I am more interested in the Wii-U now. It seems the graphics will be on par finally with PS3 and 360, so maybe Nintendo won't get left out anymore from 3rd party blockbusters. And AC3 on there will really help it out and get some new buyers tempted to by it. I think Nintendo has been too independent for far too long, its time to allow more 3rd party stuff instead of relying on solely brand exclusive stuff. I'll give Nintendo a 7.5-8/10

Sony disappointed me. First, they spent far too much time on that MOVE shit, its apparent nobody cares about it, they need to stop putting so much time and energy into a most likely failed project. Sony also didn't seem to have any games that seem like blockbusters and favors their console. Activision and Ubisoft really seem to favor Xbox at the moment, Sony doesn't have a brand that can put out a big hit and put them ahead of the game. I really think they should have shown some NBA 2K like they did last year, wonder what happened. I was gonna give Sony a damn 4, but Last of Us REALLY saved Sony's ass. The game looks amazing, and will definitely bring something to the table. So with that, I'll give Sony a 6.5

I'm an xbox guy, But I think Sony had a pretty good show. Nintendo was the worst.

Micro$oft's intrigued me though. I want to see how well the smartglass works. I love how all of ESPN is gonna be on there now. and adding league pass/NHL/ /NFL (I think they did this not sure though) should pay dividends. It's kinda funny how at first you bought a PS3 if you wanted an entertainment media center. Because they had blu ray abilities, and a small capable browser.

Once Xbox got Netflix though they started tearing it up and PS3 has been playing catchup since then. Except they had Amazon Videos and Vudu for a few months before. And also MLB Network for a good while I guess.

Overall I'd say Microsoft barely won
    then Sony

    Nintendo.
