Bigshow vs Shaq height comparison

It's funny how people claim that rasslin' inflates people's heights, but nowadays I think the WWE is more accurate about heights than many sports and ESPECIALLY the NBA. The WWE Lists The Big Show @ 7'0", while the NBA lists Shaq @ 7'1". Shaq was also wearing extremely thick soled sneakers and had good posture, while Big Show's posture is much worse than it used to be 15 years ago. From the way people like to talk, I'd have thought that Bigshow would be like 6'4" tall.

The Great Khali is probably taller than Shaq by a couple of inches. I wonder what Kevin Nash would look like standing next to Shaq as he's very tall as well.

Back in WCW Hogan hung out with Shaq and Shaq was only about 4 inches taller. Hogan was a legit 6' 7".

I think the NBA lies about the real height of their players more than WWE does. Ben Gordon is listed as 6' 3" and he's probably 5' 11" at the most.

Yeah, Nash probably is a lot shorter than his prime but he's still a lot taller than 6'9" Magic Johnson. I like comparing WWF Billed 6'6" Razor Ramon to NBA billed 6'9" Magic Johnson

Best part of the show was with Shaq and Jericho at the beginning in the ring when Jericho says "When they told me the most dominant player in NBA history was hosting the show tonight, I assumed they meant Kobe Bryant"

Yeah, all the heights you are listing as legit I have found as well and definitely agree with.

I think that Bigshow may have lost height because of his immense girth, back surgery, and having to throw around 300 to 500lbs guys around 300 days a year for decades really compresses your spine and makes you shorter.
When LSU played Wichita State, Paul Wight was clearly taller than Shaq.
Even in the WCW days, he used to TOWER over guys he's now barely taller than.

Big Show was never taller than Shaq. You don't go from taller to atleast an inch and a half shorter by age 37.



Khali isn't any taller than Shaq either.
