Most of these guys I thought were going to be stars back in HS (Tim Thomas, DeMar Johnson), college (Rodney Rogers, Eddie Griffin) and a couple midway through their rookie year (like Googs)

    Tom Gugliotta
    Rodney Rogers
    Donyel Marshal
    Keith Van Horn
    Tim Thomas
    Ron Mercer
    Stromile Swift
    DeMarr Johnson
    Eddie Griffin
    Marvin Williams

Laettner was a punk who stepped on people's faces. There's that line between confidence and asshole, well Laettner wasn't even close to the line. He was the apex of asshole.

Laettner did just fine in the NBA until he started getting injured. His first few years he put up nice numbers. Once he got injured he was never the same. You should look up his stats.

Okafor, he looked like he the skills to be a really good All Star big man, but he turned out to be average. Jordan Hill too, I thought in D'antoni's system (and NY's lack of big men) he would be a steal but he hasn't panned out so far.
