    Here is a link for Kevin Love training with Gunnar Peterson, world renown "guru" of strength and conditioning. You can tell by just looking at Gunnar, he is fitness personified. Look at that physique. Congrats Gunnar, Kevin Love is well on his way to looking like someone who is terminally ill. A few more push ups while you whack him with a foam pad and he should be ready to go for 2012.

    I thought he looked in good shape though the first preseason game I saw him in. I haven't seen this video though.

    Something wrong with Peterson's single-digit body fat "physique"?

    My guess is you're still an adolescent (either chronologically or intellectually) that thinks the best physique for everyone is the Dwight Howard/Transformer build.

    As noted above, I'll take Peterson's reputation and history of success over your esteemed, learned opinion.

    for all you know, love could be improving his stamina as well and reducing the wear and tear in the knees and joints by carrying too much weight. its not just about the physique.

    common error made by idiots thinking physique is the only thing these players are thinking about with these kinds of workouts.

    one thing i truly believe works in basketball, in which love does, is yoga.

    Being in shape is not all about muscles. Stamina and conditioning are vital for an up and down sport like basketball. Regardless of what you think of the exercises the results speak for themselves. Love looks great.

    Not about muscles. He lost unnecessary weight and probably improved his condition. Basketball is not a powerlifting contest.
