    Great player.

Prayers should be with his family.

Sorry, I didn't spot this thread on the first couple pages, and went off and made my own...

Sad, though. I remember going to one of his basketball camps back in '88. Really nice guy, and a patient teacher.

Very sad, I heard it on ESPN Radio that it had something to do with cardiac arrest.

    Really sad.
He's a guy who had trouble keeping the weight off when he was playing and practicing eight months a year, so it's not a huge surprise he ballooned up like that.
He's also one of the smaller name type guys who would have been fun to see match up with Shaq because he was so big and strong, and deceptively quick.

It would be a nice tribute to post his greatest hits video. I think the correlation to this thread is pretty obvious.

actually it would be wiser to make a seperate thread and put it in the off-topic forum. newbies

Cardiac arrest wouldn't surprise me. The guy had gotten huge.

    RIP Duck.

But can we at least agree he was one of the worst All-Stars of the past 20 years.
    18/8 per game?

Seriously him & Jamaal Magloire were at the top.

I don't really put him in that category... I always felt that in his prime he was one of the best at his position... It's not all about stats, he was a great team player, and had both a physical and finesse game. The finesse side for such a huge guy was always pretty amazing to watch.
