people trying to claim MJ for NY sorry, NC gets jordan.
where you're born doesn't matter, it's about where you develop your skills. MJ isn't an NY baller

Re: Chicago by far produce the best NBA players
Best ballas come from the DMV. One year Rudy Gay won All-metro and Beasly and Durant were on the 1st and 2nd teams.
David Robinson went to OP in Prince William County. That's considered part of the DMV too. I know because that was my school. My guidance counselor had a life sized cutout of him.
LOL@ people saying MJ is from New York. Family moved before he could even step on a court.

Very good NBA starter
Re: Chicago by far produce the best NBA players
Man, I wish NBA teams were divided up by city of birthplace or upbringing.
We could see this actually go down and see who really has the best players.

He sure was; as was Chris Paul, Steph Curry, John Wall, Antawn Jamison, Jerry Stackhouse, as well as stars from the 80s like Dominique Wilkins, Brad Daughtery, David Thompson and Bob McAdoo.

Re: Chicago by far produce the best NBA players
You gotta add Kobe for philly too, if you add players from L.A. and Chicago outskirts, you gotta do the same for Kobe as well as Jameer Nelson, Rip Hamilton, Wayne Ellington, Lavoy Allen, Gerald Henderson & Tyreke Evans
