At this point you even have to consider that Bynum would be an upgrade in maturity over Howard.

And as a coach? Clearly his three point chucking philosophy isn't working too well lately, people complain about Dwight not shooting enough but I think that has a lot to do with their crappy offensive philosophy of shooting threes at every possible opportunity.
He's not a bad coach, but certainly not a great one.
He's working with what he's got. He literally has 0 slashers on that roster. I guess Jameer can do it sometimes but he normally rather chucks up 5 threes a game too.
On this particular event, why would he not talk about it? The thing is going to blow anyways, you must be crazy if you think he's gonna be coaching there for long after Dwight has asked for him to be fired.

There are so many wrongs things with the way Otis managed that team. So many wrong choices he made. It's hilarious people are forgiving just how much of a bad job he did. And does.
Yeah I know it

SVG acted like a beta there. He shrank and lied about what he was saying. "Yeah so Melo is scary".
SVG def has a part off responsability. You know, he could have talked it out with D12 like MONTHES before. You know do a coach job and make it so that there is not such a bad drama now.
It's just.. lol.
D12 should man up tho. Whatever you do, accept it. Hire better pr assisstant if you don't know how to answer questions. Tebow can do it at the perfection, no reason for him to **** up so much.

he's trying to not offend people but by not sticking with his word, dwight just comes off as an arrogant, manipulating moron. was it completely right for SVG to go public? probably not. they won't fire him this season though. this offseason? anything goes. he'll get hired somewhere else if he is let go. orlando is catering completely to dwight and they'll be a laughingstock if he ends up leaving

Re: Stan Van Gundy confirms Dwight Howard asked Magic to fire him
1: Otis Smith should be fired. What has he done for that team? The best move he has on his resume is getting Ryan Anderson. Think about that. And then think about Carter and Arenas.
2: Stan Van Gundy might as well be wearing a sign saying, "fire me." He clearly no longer gives a shit, probably has a few million in the bank and his agent has some leads. I agree with Lebowski saying he should go NCAA. At the college level no player could give him this much shit.
3: Dwight Howard is only there because he isn't emotionally tough enough to deal with the fallout of leaving. He can't stand being the villain. But any and evy time he talks about that Magic team winning a championship he's lying. There are at least three and maybe even five teams that can beat them in a series and he knows it else he'd have signed the extension.

Who cares, I just hope we get matched up with them in the playoffs. I have no fear of the Magic in a 7 game series.

The whole EC wants Orlando. No one else is this dysfunctional and the way this game is going it looks like it's gotten to Howard's head.

You know, I saw the Dwight quote yesterday and I don't know if it caught a lot of people's attention, but it caught mine. I think it said a lot. And I think that quote probably got to SVG enough for him to decide "the hell with it" and just let it loose.
Anyone else notice Dwight say "Throw rocks and hide" when SVG started to walk away? Yowsa.
