Some enjoyable moments... but mainly disappointed with the album.

um, is that link legit? i'm listening to the first track "Bad Guy" and it sounds like something a poster on here would share for something they recorded in their bathroom.

its not the sound...well it is, but i'm sure its just the song itself. i'm on Rhyme or Reason...and this isn't very good.

Re: Marshall Mathers LP 2,11-5-13
went through the entire album(skipped monster of course) and the first listen verdict: 8/10. didn't blow me away, but it was good. i wasn't expecting him to outdo mmlp1, but was expecting him to take it back which he did a bit of.
Love Game was a huge letdown, probably because i was expecting something different and for it to be a serious song.
The singers on Legacy and Asshole, imo, did a much better job than rihanna did on monster.that monster track was just a mistake by Em. Only tracks that will not be on repeat are berzerk, monster, and love game.
As a whole project, mmlp2>recovery.

Re: Marshall Mathers LP 2,11-5-13
Flow on Brainless and Rap God are great. The second half of Bad Guy is amazing, where he's rapping as Stan's little brother, and then the beat switch. Just great stuff.
Headlights, Legacy and Stronger Than I Was are great, meaningful songs as well. And none of them are too poppy like the shitty singles we got. Outside of The Monster/Survival/Asshole/Berzerk. All the songs have replay value. I wish he and Kendrick went a little more serious on Love Game but it's different, I wouldn't say I disliked it but something put me off.
This is his best work since The Eminem Show in my opinion. Of course, it needs more time to set in but that's what it feels like right now. Solid 8 or 8.5/10.

I liked Survival on the album, I don't think it should have been released as a single at least before the album dropped.
Evil Twin is great.
