Splitter is doubtful for Game 1 against the Warriors, Diaw on the other hand is ahead of schedule and Popovich said he looks good.

Yeah the 90s were tough. I remember it all too well. Been a fan of SA since the early 90s as well. Used to go to the Willie Anderson basketball camp as a young kid, even remember the pet store that Sean Elliott used to own around 281 and Bitters. Good ol days.

    Go Spurs!

Diaw and Splitter will be needed against the Heat. Diaw always seems to go on those 3 pt. runs out of nowhere.

16 of the 17 ESPN NBA 'Experts' are picking the Spurs to win the series.

Although 100% of them picked Denver to take out GS in the first round.

Spurs aren't winning sh!t this year. Every year they get exposed in the playoffs. Last year they got swept by the Thunder. This year, they'll probably lose to the Warriors and not even make it to the WCF. If they do, they'll end up losing to OKC/Memphis.

Either way, not getting out of the West. Even still, 0% chance to beat the Heat.

Kobe Bryant proved that you can't keep running from father time. Spurs are just too old.

First of all nobody really has a serious chance as long as the Heat are healthy.

Secondly, injuries in the WC (Westbrook, Lee, Kobe, Gallo) have left it wide open. Anyone could win the conference. OKC and MEM pose threats and have knocked us out the past 2 years but neither are currently the same team they were then.

Third, tearing your Achilles has nothing to do with age and furthermore the Heat have the second oldest team in the league so the age argument can't be strongly supported.

Fourth, the fact that the series went to 6 games means you have no idea what you are talking about.

They are NBA Finals bound at least, and then its a toss up between the Spurs and Heat.
