you need to get out and try some better beers man, there is a wide variety of tastes, almost all of which are better than Corona or Heineken

my best recommendation, since I don't know what market you're in so I don't know what they sell there, is to go out and find some locally brewed stuff, go to a pub with a micro-brewery or something, and start tasting and trying them. After a while you'll start to get an appreciation for the differences. My best advice is don't listen to other people who are devoted to only one or another. Taste is a very personal thing, so don't be turned away from something just because someone else says that they don't like it, and don't be afraid to not like something that everyone else swear by.

    Hawker I go pulpless.

Beer is a taste you have to acquire after a while. I doubt many people actually enjoyed the first few beers they ever had, but once you learn to like it it's so refreshing as im sure you all know. Id have to go with export premium dry as my favourite beer at the moment.
yeah I've progressed from "its the worst thing Ive ever tasted" to the point where I can pretty much ignore the flavor.

beers great cause it loosens me up. I think the reason people like the flavor is because they like what it does to them and they mentally adjust to the flavor.
