Hubie is alright with me. Been watching him broadcast since the CBS days. Keeps it simple, doesn't overanalyze, and breaks the game down well for casual basketball fans.

I don't like his style of announcing. Very dry. But, he is very well respected in the industry. People listen to his opinions.

Hubie Brown has forgotten more about the game of basketball than anyone posting in this thread has ever known or will ever know about the game.
And it isn't an announcer. Michael Buffer is an announcer. Hubie Brown is a color analyst.

Hubie knows his shit.... tells something about the game not the casual fan would notice. Would rather hear his boring voice than Van Gundy and Jackson taking turns agree and disagreeing with one another, then blowing each other on air, and Breen just pointed out what the other two are doing
He butchers names, thats the only gripe I got
