Re: Unsolved Mysteries - Robert Shack - Greatest Show of all time.
Yeah the ghost stories were the best. Maybe they weren't realistic.. but they were much more entertaining. Eventually it became all about robberies, murders, all the standard stuff you can find on a million other channels. I remember watching this show before I went to sleep as a kid and being scared shitless. And I was the type of kid who watched horror movies RELIGIOUSLY.

I'm not familiar with the Ted Bundy story... and I discovered this nugget of gold:
After his discovery, Bundy became a more focused and dominant person. Back home in Washington by 1968, he managed the Seattle office of Nelson Rockefeller's Presidential campaign and attended the 1968 Republican National Convention in Miami, Florida as a Rockefeller supporter.[16] He re-enrolled at UW, this time as a psychology major.
I did not know that.

that might just indicate that they believe what they are saying. it doesn't make it true. hook up a christian, a jew, a muslim, a buddhist and a hindu to a polygraph and ask them if their religion is true - none of them will be "lying" :)
but i used to love the show when i was a kid.
