You do realize that this the best era ever for point guard play right?

It's not and he's not a point guard.

He isn't going to make it past Wade/Rose/D-Will/Johnson/etc...in the east and he just isn't going to ever cut it in the West.

This is just a silly question.

Or it proves that I understand that All-Star rosters are Guard-Guard/Forward-Foward/Center.

You two are so slow sometimes.

The only people who are going to say yes are the people who overrate everything from the past. The people that probably say stuff like Rik Smits was better than Dwight Howard or Penny Hardaway was better than Lebron James.

Not really, he had a few seasons in East where he was better than Joe Johnson and Luol Deng last season.
So yes its possible he would be.

Not an allstar but still VERY solid.

Guys like Kenny Anderson, Van Exel, and Terrell Brandon would be killing it under these rules.

    How slow are you?

I said that this is the golden era of PG's...I never said "Kendall Gill was a point guard". My point in saying that this is a era laden with point guards was to illustrate the stiff competition for the guard spots on the All-Star team. Anyone who takes the time to read and knows what they are talking about would have understood where I was coming from.

    You really need to chill.

LOL he was the first person to come to mind. They make it seem as tho he was just a simple scrub and today's players are all amazingly talented.

Gill would've had a legitimate shot at being an all star. Good defender, great athlete, good enough scorer, don't see why he wouldn't have a shot at being an all star.
