Kobe, Fish, Blake, and Brown. I just feel they are now a little thin there and adding a little more quality depth at that position wouldnt hurt. Parker would be a great fit on the floor and on the books as his deal expires this season. Just thinkin out loud.
Barnes can play a little bit of SG if needed since they still have Walton/Ebanks

Lakers save alot of salary and get a big man vet in return. Granted he isn't very good but still least he is a big. Just helps to add to the bottom of the bench depth.

Very good NBA starter
Re: Nets, Lakers, Rockets 3 way trade going down...
Hmm, someone on another board posted a conspiracy theory that the Nets owner wants Sharapova at their games

Guess that means Jermaine Taylor will be waived. Or has he already?

Of course. How is that even a discussion? The Nets traded for Sharapova not for Vujicic. The Nets owner probably inquired what it would cost to have Anna Kournikova

Another thread stickied that we'll never see. Don't sticky threads. They get lost in the shuffle.

Oh, he's worth it. The Nets were 2-0 with Joe Smith as a starter.

Re: Nets, Lakers, Rockets 3 way trade going down...
Nets collecting picks for a Melo trade that would kill them as he won't resign. Nets giving up on a good young talent whose been a bit of a jerk, but a manageable jerk (he's not getting arrested, etc.) Terrible move. What did they need more picks for? They gave up a young player with real potential because Avery couldn't control him for TWENTY games?

I honestly didn't realized Joe Smith was still in the league.
