Damn bro, I think I bought my first house at level 5. The routine is pretty simple: kill dudes, take all the expensive equipment, sell that shit. That is a huge source of income right there.

My main man is a Nord Warrior, specialising in 2 handed sword and heavy armour. Is this quest still doable or do you need loads of sneak?

Naw dude it's very much doable. You don't need to be a Rogue for Thieves Guild+Dark Brotherhood, though it's easier and more ideal. Just like as a Rogue I can do the Mage College quest line. As a Warrior.. if you dual wield it's a MUST to do the Thieves Guild. I just got 2 sick as* swords 90 percent through their quest line. One in a display case and the other from an NPC for a reward. So now I have best dagger in game+ 2 sick swords to alternate.

Both 1 handed. Stats on them are...
Chillrend:
24 damage, 13 weight, value 873.
Target takes 15 points frost damage and chance to paralyze for 2 seconds.
Nightingale Blade:
22 damage, 12 weight, value 851.
Steals 10 points of health and stamina per second from target.
My dagger from Dark Brotherhood quest line..
Blade of Woe
24 damage, 7 weight, value 880.
Steals 10 points of health per swing.
I'm now a Nightingale (special forces of Thieves Guild basically), leader of Thieves Guild AND leader of Dark Brotherhood. Basically I run sh** like a mob boss. 3 bases, one big home (fully furnished) and 2 guest houses from quests. Yup I'm a boss.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
About to get to pick one of these insanely powerful powers.
"You must then speak to Karliah, and she explains to you the choice you must make between the Agent of Strife, Subterfurge and Stealth. To pick one, you must simply step on the corresponding moon. They give you greater Powers, useable once a day.
The crescent moon represents the Agent of Shadow/Stealth, who's the master of remaining unseen. Once a day, you can activate it for 120 seconds and you'll automatically become invisible while stealthing.
The half moon represents the Agent of Subterfuge, who utilizes shadow to cloud the judgement around him. Once a day, you can activate it for 30 seconds in order to make people and creatures on the spell's area of effect attack anyone nearby.
The full moon represents the Agent of Strife, and once a day you can use it, instantly absorbing 100 Health points from the target."

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Interesting.
I am interested in that real estate, not so much the swords now.
My Greatsword does 37 damage, and I presume I can find even better ones. I can put down a Dragon with it in about 30-45 seconds.
What quest line will get me the large house?
