He created an album with a cohesive sound and feel. The high and lows of the album feel completely natural and nothing sticks out in a bad way.
It still doesnt unseat comeback season, but it comes close.
Nobody liked it to a casual hip-hop fan because it wasn't hip hop or rap. It was 90% pop or R&B music. That 10% was probably the song that featured Kendrick in it and another i forgot. But i kinda liked Drake before Take Care. Comeback Season and So Far Gone are still his best pieces. And Thank Me Later had a few songs that i liked as well.

Nas, Canibus, CunninLynguists and Killah Priest. Can't think of a stand out fifth member. Tech N9ne could be a candidate.
Interesting how barely anyone has mentioned Tupac & Biggie. They'd have been on my list several years ago. I can relate if like me you overdosed on their music and rarely/never play it any-more.

I guess if we mean more current guys that have been putting out new stuff I would have to throw Big KRIT & Elzhi on there too. Those guys are supremely talented. Still never gunna knock any of the above off any list tho

U mentioned waka and 2 chains and you're puttin people down for mentioning drake? Drake is the reason waka even had a song on the radio this year.

the logic here is so terrible. waka had 5+ hits before any collaborations with major artists, what makes you think round of applause without drake wouldn't have been on the radio?
Drake had 5+ hits on the radio just this year. Not to mention all of his features are hits as well
