Inb4 Euro League posts Rubio's stats from two different leagues with completely styles of playing, not the same pace and trying to trash the NBA

I recorded it with my cam yesterday with the purpose of posting it. But the OP made it sound so arrogant, like he was criticizing it. It was a sincere and honest respond. Basically he said that the players are better, and then when asked how he has adjusted, he talked about all the space and freedom he has. But yeah, it clearly points out how much easier the guards have it this era with the rule changes to make them play more like Jordan. It's a shame now when someone born in 95... never mind.

Edit: Also, does anyone know of a good video software to cut out just the part of the interview where Ricky is talking about the freedom?

Over in the NBA teams aren't obviously going to give him that type of role because his talent doesn't really dictate it. Thus he get's relegated to being a spot up shooter.

The few possessions that he gets\attempts to showcase his game he's doesn't suck at all. Can make plays for others, make plays off the dribble. Just generally used at a spot up guy.

Considering his usage\shot attempts\minutes? He's basically your average role player off the bench.
Totally agree. He's a crybaby that doesn't realize he needs to adapt.

Is this a joke? There's some great NBA coaches, but there's hardly any fan who thinks his team's got a good coach.
(I'm talking strictly about head coaches, if you count all the assistants I do agree)

Do you think Sergio Llull is capable of adjusting his game in the NBA?

No chance, he'd have to play PG and he's a headless chicken.
We also need him here to make fun of him.

Probably he a towel and ball boy.
Mugsy Bogues had no trouble with the hand check . Lets just say I used basketball reference and came up with every players weight and 93.9 % of guards in the 1991 season were under 200 pounds, while only 62.3% were in in 2007. If players today could play against earlier generations such as the 90's, we know who'd win that battle...

You know, the things I've been posted here for years while people here drool over all of the overrated point guards in the league. Apparently Rondo, Rose and Westbrook are better than Isaiah Thomas according to many of the children posting on this board.

He also added that basketball is still just basketball and he knows the game.
Rondo, Rose and Westbrook are better than Isaiah Thomas. They are not however better than ISIAH Thomas.

    Ricky Rubio VIDEO Interview:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_-MI6Z1cV4

    NBA TV:

"Ricky, what's the biggest adjustment you have had to make from playing in Barcelona, to now playing here in the states?"

    Ricky Rubio:

"It's basketball, so in the end of the day, it's the same thing. But, over here, maybe, you can run more. There are more spaces because there is a defensive 3 second zone.

And it's easy to play here, because of all the spaces you have, and they can't be more than 3 seconds in the zone. So that it looks easier going to the rim.
