What We Learned From The 2016 NBA Finals

1. The 2015-16 Golden State Warriors were the most overrated team ever.

It is known. They were the most undeservedly overhyped team ever. The 95-96 Bulls still reign supreme. This Warriors team isn't even Top 10 in NBA history. What a joke.

2. Stephen Curry is unanimously the worst MVP in league history.

It's not even close. Everybody knows this.

3. The NBA rigged things for a Game 7.

They were so obvious and blatant about it. The NBA saw the huge bags of money they were about to lose if the Warriors won in 5, so they took matters into their own hands. The Draymond suspension is one of the worst things I've seen in NBA history. Curry fouling out and getting ejected was pretty bad, but he's garbage anyway so it didn't matter much. Still, the fix was in, and the NBA didn't even try to hide it.

4. The Golden State Warriors had the most epic meltdown in NBA history.

The "best team ever" couldn't win a single game against a team they had blown out by like 20-30 points in the first two games. They also had two chances on their home court to win one game and choked anyway. By far the worst Finals ever by a league MVP. Epic. Meltdown. And that's understating how huge this failure was.

5. LeBron James has earned his place in the Top 10.

It pains me to say this, because I can't stand the guy, and his stans/trolls/media are insufferable, but this was an impressive victory after another meltdown was imminent. It still doesn't erase all the huge gaffes in his past, but you have to give some respect after what he accomplished in these Finals against all odds.

6. The city of Cleveland finally has something to celebrate.

It's been forever, and it's about time. Good for them.

Been saying this for the longest time, way before the Finals even started. OKC was the better team, just couldn't get over their low IQ choking to seal the deal. '14 Spurs would demolish those jump shooting fairies.

Disagree. But he is the most overrated athlete I've ever encountered during my lifetime. One trick pony who brings nothing to the table if that one trick isn't working.
