That article isn't in Russian. From what I understand it's in Serbian.

It is what it is
Re: Bobby Brown ties the Euroleague scoring record with 41 points
41 points is the top scoring record in a single game? Or am I reading it wrong, seems awfully low.

Come on euroleague. That 99 point game obviously came in a weak era. Whitneys man wouldve scored 150 if he was playing back then

My bad. Greek? Bulgarian?
BTW. Bobby Brown, if he was a better athlete and slightly bigger, would've had a nice NBA career. But with his speeds and skills, he's a very good fit for the different type of play in Europe. I'm still amazed Weems does so well in Europe. Looking at his skillset when he was in the US, he didnt strike me as someone with the suitable skillset.

I think he meant it by the Cyrillic.

What do you mean if he was a better athlete? He would be the 3rd most athletic point guard in the NBA.

The actual record is 99 points. 41 points is the record of the stats that Euroleague has ownership over. FIBA owns the rights to the other stats.
In other words, 41 points is the most points (by 4 players) since 2000. So it does not count the previous 42 years of the league.
For example, Korac scored 99 once. He scored 71 once.
I remember I think Arlauckas scored 63 once. Galis scored over 50 like 4-5 times. Etc. There are probably a lot more such examples. I'm just going off some by memory.

Bobby Brown never was very athletic. Did he all of a sudden become this super athlete? Better than Rose, Wall, Bledsoe, Westbrook, Nate disagree, to name a few. You always have to go overboard, which is why you're disliked by many posters here.
Tone down the attitude and reactions a bit, be more realistic and people will appreciate you and your posts a bit more. Way better method to get your message across here.
Brown is skilled. Maybe he's very athletic compared to some players in the Euroleague, where pure athletics are less important than fundamental skills, especially compared to the NBA. But come on.

Re: Bobby Brown ties the Euroleague scoring record with 41 points
Well, FIBA does list the high games since 1991. I found it after searching.
Joe Arlauckas - 63 - 1995–96
Michael Young - 47 - 1993-94
Nikos Galis - 46 - 1991–92
Velimir Perasović - 45 - 1991–92
Ivica Žurić - 45 - 1993–94
Nikos Galis - 44 - 1991–92
Nikos Galis - 44 - 1991–92
Tony Dawson - 43 - 1996–97
Zdravko Radulović - 42 - 1991–92
Zdravko Radulović - 42 - 1991–92
İbrahim Kutluay - 41 - 1998–99
Alphonso Ford 41 - 2000–01
Carlton Myers - 41- 2000–01
Kaspars Kambala - 41 - 2002-03
Bobby Brown - 41 - 2012-13
So, Euroleague keeps the stats since 2000, and FIBA keeps them since 1991 available online. But unfortunately, neither one of them lists the stats prior to 1991.

I have no idea what you are talking about. Westbrook and Rose are the only point guards in the NBA that are more athletic than Brown is.
