Default Suns' Dragic out for 2 games. Len going to be day-to-day

Suns point guard Goran Dragic exited a game for good early in the third quarter for a second consecutive game when he sprained his left ankle on driving score in Sunday night’s 103-96 loss to Oklahoma City.

It is the same ankle Dragic sprained Oct. 17 when Sacramento’s Jimmer Fredette fouled him on a fast break. This time, Dragic turned the ankle on a fast-break drive without contact.

“It felt worse this time,” Dragic said.

Dragic said he had not experienced issues with the left ankle since returning from the previous sprain.

“It’s frustrating, but I have to be strong,” Dragic said. “Maybe it’s because I played the whole summer (for Slovenia’s national team), but I feel good. Maybe I just don’t have luck. I’ll be strong, work on this and come back stronger.”

Suns rookie center Alex Len was held out when his left ankle became sore again. He was held out of practices the previous weekend due to soreness in the ankle.

Len had May surgery that implanted a metal plate in the ankle after he suffered a partial stress fracture.
