He's averaging a double-double this season. Hickson is one of the top candidates for the Most Improved Player of the Year. Back in 2010 Mr. Potato head benched JJ Hickson in the playoffs. It's nice to see this former Cavaliers is having a good season. (13 ppg, 11 rpg)

OKC should go for him with their 1st round picks, amnesty ****in Perkins already.

Hickson can eat glass and catch/finish with the best of them. He will give Westbrook/Durant 2 assists every game just off basic dunks, the shit Perkins ****s up 2-3 times a game and turns the ball over on a wide open lay up.

I was hoping we would trade him to okc for picks or for lamb. He is a huge upgrade over perkins.

Royce White would be a huge upgrade over Perkins.

After the Spurs game Hickson has slowly started to change my mind. He's actually played a bit of defense and his production helped. Earlier in the year if you saw Hickson having a good game Portland was usually losing. Not so much anymore. I think Portland might resign him.

2013 NBA Most Improved Player of the Year JJ Hickson. He's as tall as Scottie Pippen. Both are 6'7.5" without shoes, but they both have a long wingspan.

I thought about criticizing Hickson's defensive ability, but then I had an epiphany- if he's replacing Perkins it'd probably be a wash. So yeah, straight up improvements to inside scoring and rebounding.

So is LMA just a bad one?
Why does Portland have a negative rebounding differential?
