lol I understand asking where Jordan and Bran are, but did kobe ever shoot over 50% FG for a season? Or even 40% from 3? I don't think he fits any of this criteria
LeBron will never be on it because of his FT's.
I'd probably take Bird, but I'd like to see AST/REB #s too

Larry Bird by very far considering the rest he brought to the table.

And people say Nash is overrated?

Very good NBA starter
Re: Which is the most impressive 50-40-90 season?
Probably not the answer TS is looking for, but Nash impresses me to most because of how consistently he did it. Larry had seasons where he shot really poorly from 3. Nash practically puts up those numbers for his career.

Re: Which is the most impressive 50-40-90 season?
Durant's is the most impressive because of the sheer number of 3's he took. It's even more impressive when you compare the percentage of his 3FGA to his FGA's.

It's not fair to judge how impressive those seasons are without factoring in rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, etc. Otherwise Nash's (and Price's) 50-40-90 seasons are pretty worthless compared to the rest of them.
If we must look just at scoring, Bird. Just under 30ppg on 53-41-92 shooting is just absurd.

i don't know the one with the most FGA? And with a pretty decent amount of 3's taken despite 3's not being an offensive weapon like they are today?

Durant's is more impressive.
In Bird's 88' season, the league average for FG% was 48% at pace of 99.6. Only 14.2% of Bird's shots were 3's.
In Durant's 13' season, the league average for FG% was 45.3% at a pace of 92.0. 23.3% of Durant's shots were 3's.
TL;DR: Bird's 88' season was played at a much faster pace which allowed for higher FG%. He took far fewer 3's, which are naturally percentage busters, and took 22 FGA/gm compared to Durant's 17.7 FGA/gm to score 1.8 ppg more.
Of course, Durant took 3.3 more FTA/gm which roughly(crudely) equates to 1.5 FGA.
This is of course, all reflected in Durant's TS% which was 64.7% compared to Bird's 60.8%.
