Bogut has had a couple unfortunate injuries. He's still young. Wouldn't count him out yet. It's a gamble but if it pays off it could be worth it. They get a high pick now with this trade instead of giving it to Utah if they finish 7th from the bottom or lower. A healthy Bogut, Curry with Lee, Thompson and the stud they get in the draft and they are looking pretty good along with Jackson's contract that expires after next year so he becomes more valuable by the day.

Still a bad comparison when Boguts are freak injuries and Bynum has legit knee problems that require regular injections of lubricant and could pop at any time

I like this deal for Golden State.

Obviously everything for them hinges on Bogut not getting these ridiculous injuries anymore. Monta Ellis isn't some untouchable player though where this should be considered some big risk unless they had other deals on the table for Ellis.

How many times can injuries be called freak injuries until they are just called injuries? When they happen consistently in a player's career, I think a player's durability must be called into question.

So far Bynum hasn't missed any games this season, knock on wood.

Yeah, Bogut will play very well with Curry at the medical center.

haha GS's players were all asking if the season was over before their game tonight...they weren't happy about the trade supposedly

i don't blame them. GS's GM is so dumb.

THey only get to keep their pick this year if it's 7 or less. They are tanking.

I'm pretty sure over the offseason the reports were that Bogut would basically never be the same as he was before the arm. It'll be a lifelong thing.

Why didn't the lakers trade gasol + filler for ellis+udoh and kwame. They would have added much needed depth, along with a young piece(udoh) and a good rebounder and defensive player in kwame and much needed offensive firepower.
