To each his own. I know he is not for everyone, and some might consider his music "noise".
There can be no denying his talent though. He is one of the top guitarists out there.

In any case, I was the first to mention The Beatles, so I win the thread regardless =P
I do wonder if this 23 albums in 10 years by Buckethead can be beaten though. Has anyone put out more than that in 10 years?

check your OP. i've rarely heard someone as dripping wet for syd, even from the average syd fan.
The real annoying thing about music discussion is when vinyl-guy comes in with his previously formed opinions and insists on posting one, regardless of whether it applies or not.
and the even more annoying thing is when MP3-guy comes in with his recently formed opinions and insists on posting them, regardless of whether they make the slightest bit of sense or whether they contain obvious rebuttals just waiting to kick him in the ass.

I know what was in my post, I'm the one who wrote it. I was asking you what about it made you think I was a "syd fan" and where specifically I was "putting down" someone. It's kind of how discussion works, so feel free to take another swing. Or just go out of your way to point out that you have a record collection again in case somebody missed it the first time.

hehe... well met, walter. that's worth a rep.
sometimes i need to remember that not everyone on ISH is going to fall apart / disappear or resort to profanities / hyperbole when challenged.
perhaps we can meet again on a more serious issue front sometime, such as within the many realms of science...
