At least he will mature a lot sooner as a person. He has to go through a lot and has lots of time to think of things other than the next game. That's the good part. Life is more than basketball, thank God.
You never now what all this is good for Oden. I'm a bit disappointed he can't play this season, but hey, this is not the end of his life.

Greg's always been an extremely mature kid, relative to his peers. I'm not saying he doesn't love basketball, but he's never seemed the type to be defined by it.

I don't even care, I will never give up on Greg Oden. I'll support him 1000%. I want him to be a Blazer for the rest of his career. I can't wait for when he comes back.
