Invest in a good pair of boots and you're golden. Not a lot of people can pull off "real shoes" like brogues, so boots are your best bet if you're just starting to get into fashion. You can't go wrong with brown or gray boots. Not childish like sneakers and not too phaggytime like loafers (even though loafers can still be pulled off quite nicely)
