I never understood why local channels feel the need to interrupt programming to show giant flames of fire, for hours straight. I understand police pursuits have entertainment value... but fires?

fire happens every year due to the high winds and dried up wild plants that get toasted during the never ending socal sun in spring. it would be weird to have a year where there WERENT any wildfires.

This thing was like 2-3 miles from my work, thankfully it spread the opposite way but we were kinda hoping we would get to leave early lol. I could see the flames on the way there. Scary shit.
