Knicks dont play defense. Other than Tyson and Lin I see very few genuine attempts on the defensive side. Melo is the best offensive player in the NBA for you guys(Knicks Fans) to really say he is a cancer and a bum just show how much why I consider the entire Knick fanbase the worst ever.

Your problem isnt gonna be fixed by the time the playoffs start. You need a defensive minded coach and vocal defensive anchor on your team.

Exactly. Melo has taken fewer shots than any point in his career except maybe first 2 years, and averaging more assists than he ever has, but he is stopping the flow.

Definitely, especially if they bring in a coach like Jerry Sloan. Linsanity under D'Antoni was an exciting and fun brand of basketball. They would not have been championship contenders, but they were better than most.

but that's exactly what mike woodson is all about. melo had to adapt and instead of doing that, he disagreed and pouted. now he's going to go back to his iso game. even if you think MDA was a problem, woodson is no real step up. sloan? got pushed out by deron so why would he be excited for melo/amare?

Melo kills ball movement and holds the ball and D'Antoni envisioned him holding it even more the ball!!! And so it happened, just look to the beggining of this season, Melo done everything he was asked, but hey it's all his fault.
