The Playstation Now is the dumbest crap ever
So Sony is trying to come up with their own version of Netflix. Instead of paying a monthly fee, you rent old PS3 games. For 3.99 you can rent it for 4 hours and for 11.99 you can rent it for 30 days depending on the game. Some games can go as high as 39.99 for 30 days.
You can get that game for 30 days at 9.99. You can also buy the entire thing for less than that on Xbox live. Who the f*ck wants to play a game for 4 hours? Even blockbuster didn't rip off their customers like this. On top of that, the games are old games and most of them cost way less at used game stores for the entire package.
I think this is a bad move by Sony. By only allowing these games to be rentals only, they are denying gamers the option to buy them (none of the stream games are for sale). When I buy a game, I tend to milk it for over 100 hours in the course of a few years, so essentially Sony is telling me I should be paying $300 for a game I don't even own.
This is hands down the dumbest sh*t I have ever seen.

For once I agree with you.

Re: The Playstation Now is the dumbest crap ever
I can understand if the games are new 59.99 games but they're charging MORE for a rental of an old game than the actual cost you can get at a used game shop. What kind of f*cked up business plan is this? Who the hell is dumb enough to pay 14.99 for Deadrising 2 when all they have to do is get their lazy ass off the couch and hit the nearest Gamestop to get it for $5? This makes absolutely no sense and if it truly is the reason why I can never buy classics in their arcade catalog, then I'm really going to switch to Xbox One. I love the classics; it is one of the reason I bought an Xbox 360.

First move I don't agree with. It's obvious the prices are way too high.

Re: The Playstation Now is the dumbest crap ever
so can't you just not rent these old games?
seems like most people simply won't bother using the service if it's overpriced

The renting system itself is stupid. Just let me buy the damn game.

so they missed out one of the best part of Netflix eh?
where you can "order" a rental, and if you end up not returning the movie after a certain amount of time. you have now automatically completed the purchase!
actually, my mind isn't even clear enough to know if Netflix deserves the credit on this one, I just know it was some big rental movie company.

When i first saw this as well i said already to myself what a dumb service. Plus it eats your bandwidth. Then i saw the prices and lmao. As you said why would anyone rent when you can buy the stuff and itll be yours forever. One reason why i always want to have hardcopies of stuff.

while some people may argue that after you release some much stress, every step/time you spent afterwards enjoying such activity only causes one to be more fragile TO stress when one once again encounter it.
I suspect between being numb, and finding deeper meanings behind it all
all lays between how you'd like to interpret the world and yourself before you go to bed.
absolutely no idea, if that's the origin of prayers or not
