Any Illini fan or college basketball fan feel free to post your opinions and any information about Illinois on this thread.
I feel that this year will not be as strong a year as we have been having recently but will quickly turn around next season with the addition of Gordon, McCamey, and hopefully Rose. We got a solid big man this season in Freshman Brian Carlwell to add to a good roster which includes Jamar Smith, Rich McBride, Shaun Pruitt, Brain Randle, and Chester Frazier (bit of a Dee Brown resemblance here). Hopefully we can make this a memorable season and make a good run in the tournament.

My God that was aweful. I don't get why we can't win against Penn St at our own court. I was watching the game and it just reminded me of when I played middle school ball. Lots rimmed shots and bricks with high physicality...

no words.. just disappointment. I can't even watch the Nets play after this.

Lowest scoring game in 4 years (Monmouth over Princeton, 41-21). Who knows how long for a BCS conference. Did Illinois really not shoot one free throw?

That could have seriously been the worst game I have ever seen. Just brutal. I was talking to my dad the day after and he was asking about it because he doesn't get Big 10 Network where he lives and I just couldn't put into words how bad both teams played.

What a strange week.

Let's be perfectly clear about this: Wednesday night was the worst game in the history of Illinois basketball. Just absolutely brutal.

And then we follow that up with a terrific offensive performance in a road win against a probably tournament team, in a building in which we've won once in the last decade. 28-48 from the floor, 9-17 from three, 23 assists.
