This is the spot Kobe should be at if half the posters here weren't Lakers fans and it was a truly unbias collection of NBA fanatics.

Yet this is the same idiot who said in another thread that Kobe should have been top 5. #8 is too high also.

    One ridiculous ranking deserves another.

I wanted to vote for Kobe at #9 after Duncan, being ahead of him is no catastrophe though. As far as Lebron being over Malone, Oscar and West? Notice that the only ones that dont like this are all 100% genuine notorious Lebron haters in this forum.... and they still havent implemented a credible & factual reason to WHY Lebron shouldnt be there except facepalm pics and text of discust and butthurtedness... when in all factuality Lebron has every single right to be above them as he has accomplished just a bit more and just completed a specific championship run of context which Jerry West nor Oscar Robertson ever had in their one and only championship.

Anyways, my vote here is JERRY WEST.

Dirk has 2 less MVPs, made one finals less, has the same number of rings, and less all nba first teams despite playing 14 seasons....and has worse numbers...in addition to being an average defender(to slightly above at times) while Lebron approached DPOY.

By the usual things used to judge players in these things Lebron probably should be right about where he is. It just doesnt feel right.

But hes had like 1 and a half HOF careers worth of accomplishments in 8 years.

If you review most national and websites that have people that vote in the thousands, you'll find Kobe in the top ten as well. One of them has Kobe beating out shaq and Duncan for player of the decade.

There comes a point and time where one must realize that THEIR opinion is the one that is not in the majority.

Why worse? Why don't you also look at their career totals? If Lebron's career ended today, would you really put him several seeds in front of Dirk?

That's what the voters should ask themselves when they vote on a list like this. You can't just assume that the rest of their careers will play out the way you think it will. You gotta go by what they have done so far, or just wait until their careers are close to over to try and determine their place in the history.
