My boy Andrew Toney is definately top ten. Put the Boston Strangler in there over Reggie Theus at least.

your list is close enough for me but no mention of Byron Scott? I mean if you got Paxson and Ron "Baby Jordan" Harper in there.
Harper was best from about 86 to 93. he's kind of a decade tweener. he was hell in his prime though.
Paxson had some good years. maybe about 5 or 6. he played some forward too though.

Re: TOP 10 SHOOTING GUARDS of the '80s
just a side note from all the top ten 80's teams by position, the Sixers may be the only team to field a player in every position.
PG- Maurice Cheeks
SG- Andrew Toney
SF- Julius Erving
PF- Charles Barkley
C- Moses Malone

Hell, you could argue Bobby Jones should be on one of the forwards list.

Very good list, I can't complain with that.
I'd add Darrell Griffith and Michael Cooper to the honorable mentions list

Re: TOP 10 SHOOTING GUARDS of the '80s
Dumars belongs at 5 in terms of ability but his best years were early 90s.
Jordan admitted that Dumars was the toughest defender he faced. Dumars was also a 20 ppg player who shot well from 3 and was clutch. He was one of the few guys who lit up Jordan at times in the playoffs.
Toney was a player but he had bad feet which really hurt his career.

I think Gervin and Drexler should be ahead of Moncrief.
