So sad and the number one reason our Government will remain dysfunctional and broken. Left-Right pissing match.
Well, I hate to be unfair to Christie, but between hugging/praising Obama, his speech at the convention where he barely mentioned Romney, promoted himself non-stop and indicated we needed to cut entitlements and his refusal to appear with Romney on election day, I wonder about Christie's intentions.
I'll put it this way, If Romney won, 2016 is an impossibility for Christie. I dont think Christie would have worked with Obama if he was put on the ticket.
EDIT: I mean come on watch the speech

You can't tell me this guy wanted Romney to win as much as say Granholm wanted Obama to win

yes I do think Christie is that selfish.

Wouldn't you want to take a life-boat off a sinking ship?

Probably, but I feel he has been given too much credit about being reasonable. Lets be real it was kind of in his best interest for Obama to win.

I think an all Hispanic ticket for the GOP isn't too far-fetched.
A Rubio/Martinez ticket would be a force.

Jeb's honestly a pretty good candidate, but gotta think W destroyed any chance for a Bush

Not necessarily. Jeb was one of the most beloved Florida governors and is a champion in the Spanish community. It all depends on how Obama leaves office. If it's 4 more years of the same mediocrity, it doesn't matter who the GOP puts out there, they have the advantage.

You'd lose the GOP's all important white southern vote

Re: 2016 Presidential Candiates Predictions?
If the economy improves like most economists believe (12.5 million more jobs is the projected number for the next 4 years, that's why Romney kept saying that, he didn't pull that number out of his ass), it won't matter who the GOP put up, Hillary will crush them.
The narrative will be that the Dems got us out of the big mess the GOP left.

Christie did not call Romney after the election, but he called Obama, though?

don't worry, Murdoch and his cronies at Fox will take their revenge on Christie by spinning Sandy into a worse disaster than Katrina in an attempt to scuttle his career.
