I suggest "powers" in general, so we can add religious figures, generals, philosophers and artists.

Well if that's the case, Jesus Christ is the Michael Jordan of this draft.

I'd actually prefer today's most power people.

How does it work?

We can also draft dominant Political figures in the Old Roman Empire, Byzantine Empire, Holy Roman Empire, Middle Ages, First German Empire, Prussian Empire, Japanese Imperial Army, Hitler's 3rd Reich, and Mongolian Empire.

We should just stick to political figures since 1776?

Well, I still want to put somewhat old-time leaders in this draft, the thing is Jesus wasn't a political power, so he'd be undraftable. I would only consider political powers to be those who ruled (or helped rule) a country politically (Bush, Putin, etc.) or were ever involved in politics (like political rebels and revolutionaries). But not guys who weren't involved in politics (or guys who had a minimal role), like Newton, Da Vinci, Einstein, Jordan, etc.

This is based on the peoples' political power and political impact. That's what I'd like to have.

Jesus was the great prophet, but he had some Political influence because during that time because Israel was under the regime of the Roman Empire, and they are afraid that someone will revolt againts them because Jesus Christ was a direct descendant of King David.

He's the heir to the throne because the Israelite still respect David because he's the one, who defeated the Philistines, and reunited the Kingdom after King Saul and his son Jonathan was killed in a battle.

The Jewish people wanted someone, who will help them in restoring the Kingdom in Israel, and one of the reason that Jesus Christ was crucified is because he's a powerful man.

Alright, as for the league itself, I may make it something simple like just vote on the best team after the drafting, OR ... if someone helps me out, I could have matchups every few days, and just do a regular type league with playoffs after the regular season.
