Watch OSU v. West Virginia.
Marcus Smart was so fustraighted. At one point, he walked off the bench in rage and headed to the locker room. Smart ended that game with 4 points and had fouled out. WVA played very physical against Smart and I think he couldn't handle it mentally. He has a Westbrook type of attitude, he needs to man up and play like his last name.

And I can point you to other games where he does the opposite. One game he lost his composure and you label him Westbrook attitude.

he's one of the nicest and most humble kids according to anybody who's been asked about him. he gets love in Lawrence just for being recruited by Self, even tho OK. St. beat us and he did a back flip on our court. like KU fans will flag him down to get autographs and take pics with their kids and shit, he's almost like a KU player.

im so confused by bill self. seems like he forces (or lets?) wiggins to stand in the right corner, and the plays are never going through him. yet he runs so much through embiid. i dont know why u have 2 top 3 prospects right now and dont...use....them...together.
there was a possession where wiggins got the ball post up high on the right, backing up a guy who is like 6'2. the 6'2 guy flopped and they didnt get anything from it, but thats something u should go for more...right?

kansas has started off so badly compared to their last game. cant give up constant offensive boards.
edit: both of wiggins create and stepbacks tonight have gone off the rim hard.

Embiid draws a double team every time he gets the ball, and he's effective passing out of it or scoring in single coverage. Wiggins doesn't have the ballhandling or or playmaking skills needed for the ball to go through him alot. he's best playing off ball and crashing the boards. Those one dribble pull-ups and step back jumpers can be very effective as long as he keeps moving without the ball and getting to the open spot.

Re: 2013-2014 Observation Deck
yeah he has got to the offensive rebounds so well so far, but he just cannot finish at the rim. clearly not a good first half for him, losing his man on the backdoor cut getting him his 2nd foul.
gotta love espn, though. not a word said about his poor performance, imagine if he had a first half like taylor.
yeah i've really liked his ability to create his shot but just not going for him so far.
not the only one to blame for kansas being down by more than a dozen at the half, though. im not sure switching to the 2-3 helped
