Pau Gasol discusses dealing with his concussion
“They (doctors) told me to take it easy, it (concussion) is no joke,” said Gasol, who suffered a concussion when he got hit in the nose Jan. 6. “But it’s also hard to behave when you have a concussion when you’re home and there’s no TV, no computer, no reading. I mean , what are you supposed to do? It’s hard to just stay still at home, especially if you are active person.
“You learn it’s no joke; it’s a brain injury and without our brain we don’t function. Potentially there’s damage now and you have to reset your brain, have to do a lot of exercises. You struggle with things you never thought you would struggle with. So, it’s been a process.”
