My guess is that it is a combo of real and fake. I'm thinking he really did it and that the trucks are really driving, but there is likely some safety mechanism in place that we can't see, whether it is hidden well or was removed digitally.

Any validity to the point of the video would be completely destroyed if it wasn't real and the lines on the road indicate it is likely real. If it were fake, the trucks wouldn't need the guide lines.

Yea, I read about it someplace. They had some safety belts in place so if he fell, he would just hang off the side and be alright. The belts were digitally removed.

Yep. His feet were also sitting on sturdy, horizontal platforms rather than mirrors.

Otherwise it's real, so it's still mad impressive.
