Brandon Roy is a safe choice, preferably Durant or Dwight.
Some other possibilities:
Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, AI2.
It'd be nice to see Yao Ming on a game cover though.

It won't be LeBron,Melo(NBA Live),Wade(NBA Live),Dwight(NBA Ballers),Shaq,KG,Ben Wallace,Allen Iverson,Kevin Durant(EA Sports March Madness),Deron Williams,Chris Paul(2K8),etc.
No Established Stars do these covers anymore,2K sports is looking for a person who is on the cusp of becoming a star like Chris Paul was last season.
It DEFINETLY won't be Kevin Martin,because outside of intense NBA fans they don't know who Kevin Martin is,not even the casual NBA fan knows who he is,they'll probably think you meant Kenyon Martin.
I think it will be either:
Brandon Roy(Rising Popularity,All-Star)
Josh Smith(Rising Popularity,Young Star)
Andre Igoudala(Rising Popularity)
Al Jefferson
Monta Ellis
I think Monta Ellis gets the cover.
