Game MVP's
I think this might be a cool way to have more interaction in the Boston Celtics forum. We can vote for the game MVP after every game and then see who the best player was after the season. I'll log each game date with the link to the boxscore as well.
Rajon Rondo [5]
Ray Allen [3]
Paul Pierce [3]
Greg Stiemsma [1]
Jermaine O'Neal [1]
Game logs:

If it's not too much work, could you also label the opposing team for each game?

Re: Game MVP's
Tough loss in Miami tonight, we had a breakdown in execution down the stretch.
I think the candidates tonight obviously are Rondo and Ray. Ray was on fire all game, hitting 6 of his 8 three's. He had a key offensive rebound in the 4th and two key assists down the stretch. Rondo was the only player on the floor that seemed to play all 48 minutes. He was our only offense for the first 1.5 quarters and ran the offense exceptionally well until the 4th where he seemed to disappear both offensively and defensively. He was the only player driving it to the hole as well. He had three very bad turnovers in the fourth quarter, two which led to points for Miami.
I'd say It's closer than people think but Ray made the plays when they mattered. My vote is for Ray.

COOL STORY BRAHHHHHHH
Re: Game MVP's
Rondo. He played very well in the first half when he attacked the basket mercilessly, but in the 4th he kinda shrunk and made a few key turnovers. Nonetheless he played the best among the Celtics however it is much closer than it seems as Dooling, Allen deserves a shout out too

Re: Game MVP's
Tough loss, but at least we know we can hang with some of the best teams even without Pierce.
I give my vote to Rondo, he's played at a superstar level for 2 straight games. Hopefully he keeps this up.

I'll let this go for a while obviously, not many people come to this forum.

Please clap.
Re: Game MVP's
Rondo is running away with it, but a win would be nice.

Game 1 - Do i even need to say? Rondo of course
and for game 2 well this one is tough between Ray and Rondo and Dooling deserves a shoutout, he hit a whole mess of momentum changing shots tonight. aaah Can i split between Ray and Rondo? If not then i'll have to take...damn this is tough lol. I'll go with Ray tonight, even though Wade was eating his food for most of the first half

Game 1 - Rondo
Game 2 - Watched parts of the game, but didn't look at it too closely. I felt that Allen brought some momentum back for the Celtics, but Rondo has a better overall statline. I think Rondo made a little too many mistakes, especially that pass to Dooling that easily got picked off, so my vote goes for Ray.

Re: Game MVP's
My vote goes to Ray. Rondo and Ray both had nice games but Rondo had too many turnovers and I can't get passed that idiotic pass to Dooling when the game was in a winnable position.

My vote goes to ray for game 2. Rondo's turnovers were killer
