if federer plays his A or B game no one has a chance- with nadal out, that also includes murrey. but i wonder how motivated fed will be now that he is statistically the greatest player and with nothing else to prove. if fed brings his c game murrey can possibly beat him. remember this is grass, federers best surface.
Yup Fed is like Rafa on clay I agree, I guess given what happened in RG anything can happen here as well. Also, Murray has had a winning record against Fed. But you've made very good points, let's just see which Federer comes to play and what his mentality will be if he actually gets to play Murray.

Game. Set. Match.
Re: Wimbledon 2009
I'm pullin for my boy Roddick. He's looked real strong the past few months.
If I had to pick a winner, I'de go with Murray. Good grass player with the whole Country behind him.

Roddick's been doin well this year.
Yeah Murray's the hot fave, crazyt media hype he's been getting.
Federer wins his first round match, now Serena is playing.

Re: Wimbledon 2009
Soderling , Del Potro - i like them as a players.

Re: Wimbledon 2009
soderling seems like a pretty cool guy. i hope he doesnt upset fed this time around. his speech at FO was pretty funny, "no one can beat me 10 times in a row", fed then defeats him, "ok next time nobody beats me 11 times in a row." good stuff from him.
now i hope he lets fed win the 11th, please fed promise him the 12th time.

Re: Wimbledon 2009
Wimbledon favorite Andy Murray and women's defending champion Venus Williams are playing today.
Del Potro and Fernando Gonzalez are playing today as well.
First upset yday James Blake defeated by Andreas (?) Seppi.
Wonder if there'll be any upsets today.
Federer, Djokovic, Sharapova and Serena advance. Am I missing anybody? Has Roddick played? I don't seem to recall.
And now for the much-awaited Federer outfit
LOL love the bag cos i'm a girl but i still prefer the cardigan last year over this.

Re: Wimbledon 2009

Re: Wimbledon 2009

Re: Wimbledon 2009
Entertaining match between Murray and Kendrick. Kendrick definitly played extremely well, those dives were excellent and the playing to the crowd at the end was hilarious.

Good college starter

yup, there you go.
I said that because in 2003, he lost only 1 set.
in 2004: 2 ; 2005:1 ; and in 2006: 1. (Not sure bout these).
We all know what happened after that.
Now that there's no Nadal, I can't see anyone really threatening him on his own surface.
Djokovic, Murray, Roddick and maybe Karlovic (if he serves well) can take a set.
Btw, match of the 2nd round: Del Potro - Hewitt.
