I feel like I'm done my player. I can win any game when i feel like it and i can drop any amount of points. So i started my first association.

    My draft went alright.

    I'll add more later.

I started a Dynasty with the Toronto Raptors It took a plethora of Roster moves and a Player I Created with my height and weight kinda modeled to my style of play I started him as a 59 Rating he is a 6'4'' 225 pound Shooting Guard 3point specialist. In my 3rd Season I won the NBA Finals after a dismal first season and a 4 seed second round exit my second season. My Championship line up was.....

    PG Aaron Brooks
SG Dru Anderson(my created player who is a 81 rating now)
    SF Wilson Chandler
    PF Jared Sullinger
    C Andrew Bogut
    PG Jared Bayless
    PG JJ Barea
    SF Tobias Harris(From Tennessee)
    PF Tristan Thompson (From Texas)
    C Robert Sacre (of Gonzaga)
    C Samuel Dalembert
    SG John Jenkins (of Vandy)

I tured Wilson Chandler into a Defensive Stopper and my created Player averaged 23.1 a game, Aaron Brooks gave me 18 and 7 a game and Sullinger was solid with 14 and 9rebs a game.

I created a messiah to see how great he'd make his team.

    Team: Dallas Mavericks

    PG: Jason Kidd
    SG: Jason Terry
    SF: Caron Butler
    PF: Dirk Nowitzki
C: Dominic Crawford(the "messiah", college: Army)

Dominic Crawford averaged 32/13/7 on 57% shooting and 50% 3 point shooting, lead his team to a 69-13 record, won the MVP, ROY, & DPOY and the Mavs have swept the first two rounds in the playoffs(Hornets & Lakers). They are now facing the 3rd seeded Spurs, and in the ECF, it's Bulls vs Heat.

Haha, I actually really like doing this. I'll play more tomorrow.

Damn. I can't play on Hall of Fame with this mode. Finally, a nice challenge from 2k11.

I traded for Ray Allen but he got injured. I need a legit star on my team, Conley isn't good enough lol...

Going to trade like half my team for someone I can rely on.

Players I'm willing to trade: - Trevor Ariza / Richardson / Korver / Ray Allen

Yeah HOF takes some getting used to in Association mode but it gets a lot easier after a while but not too easy. I still get good challenges. I get such good, realistic games for the most part on HOF.

What team do you have? Did you do a fantasy draft? Because it sounds like you did.

The first thing you need to consider is what kind of team you want. Do you want a young, run and gun team that pushes the tempo with athleticism? Do you want a team with deadly shooters? Do you want a team that plays in the half court and relies on bigs to open to floor up?

Well I got raped 5 times. We started 0-5 cause as soon as I got Ray Allen, he got injured for 4 weeks. Then Conley (my star) got injured. So i simulated a week because I wanted Ray and Conley back. As soon as they got back, we started dominating. Ray Allen makes a way better impact than ****ing Richardson. I wanted to build my team around Conley :P.

PG: Conley (Got him to 82 Overall so far)
    SG: Ray Allen
    SF: Ariza
    PF: Ibaka
    C: Marc Gasol

    Team Lakers.

Bench - Fisher, Frye, Richardson, Korver, Powe, Anderson

We started 0-5 but now we're 5-7. Hall of Fame is definitely harder on Association. They make everything and steal everything.

I have a fairly young team which is what i wanted. I want to get rid of Korver and Powe but I have to wait. They don't get playing time anyways.

I can't believe I never used this mode before. It's fun and challenging. BTW MrRad do you breeze by teams now? Or is it challenging nonstop? Cause I know in My player, hall of fame gets really simple after your player is maxed out

Okay I see you have quite a few shooters on your team. Marc Gasol and Conley would work great in a pick and roll setting since Gasol can pick and pop. And with Conley, Allen and Ariza and Ibaka you could push the tempo a little bit and get some transition 3's.

Well sometimes I breeze by teams. Like I'll just completely blow them out. Sometimes the CPU decides they want to win and I'll get stomped. But for the most part I win by an average of like 10 points. The games are usually decided at the end though. I don't usually have the game wrapped up in the 3rd quarter or something. But I mean the CPU will challenge you on HOF. They cheat A LOT but you just have to adjust. Here are some tips:

Just be prepared for them getting EVERY loose ball
They get a LOT of offensive rebounds
Making fadeaway three pointers with guys in their faces
    Bench players playing like stars
When the game is close late in the 4th quarter and they are up, they will rarely miss
When they make 4 or more shots in a row. CALL A TIMEOUT! When the CPU goes on runs you are at a huge disadvantage because they make everything and you miss everything. They will do this to you as well. When you go on an 8-0 or 10-0 run, they will call a timeout to cool you down.

Just finished Game 1 against the Thunder and they don't have Kevin Durant

Like he isn't even injured he just isn't on the roster for some reason.

But anyway, we started off slow and the Thunder came out charging. They had 30 points in the 1st quarter to our 23. But we put the clamps down in the 2nd quarter and exploded offensively for 34 points while holding them to only 18. LaMarcus Aldridge was destroying them early on but he got in foul trouble and didn't play most of the 3nd quarter. B Roy started off slowly too.

To make things worse, in the 3rd quarter they went off for 37 points and held us to 23. But in the 4th we put clamps on them again and Roy went off in the 2nd half. Oddly enough this is the first game I think we've missed every 3 pointer we took. No one on the team made a 3 lol

Here are the stats from my starters:

    LaMarcus Aldridge: 30/7/1 13-17 FG 4-4 FT

Brandon Roy: 27(21 in the 2nd half)/3/6/1/5 (Yes he had 5 blocks) 11-18 FG 6-7 FT

    Gerald Wallace: 12/9/2/2/1 5-13 FG 2-3 FT

    D.J. Augustin: 11/2/5/1/4 (He had 4 turnovers) 5-10 FG 1-1 FT

Greg Oden: 9/9/1/2/7 (Yes he had 7 blocks lol) 3-10 FG (He shot very poorly this game) 3-5 FT

Oh yeah and centers will make every shot, every guard will make Kobe Circus shots etc.

This game just got fun all over again. I'm trying to build Conley up as a superstar

Yeah when Centers post up..it's pretty much 2 points automatically. It doesn't matter who it is. I've had Ben Wallace, Zydrunas Ilgauskas and even Darko Milicic post up and drain 18 foot fadeaways.

And I'm trying to do the same with D.J. Augustin...turn him into a star

Had a buzzer 3 with J.Richardson against the Raptors.

    Conley moved to 82 overall
    Ray Allen dropping 3's everywhere
    Ariza finally stepping up
    Ibaka blocking left and right
    Gasol doing it all.
    Korver sucks my ass
Anderson broke his foot or some shit
Frye pretty good when i need a quick 3
Fisher makes all his 3's in this game

6-8 record oh snap! I was so mad when i started this game yesterday. 0-5 and I got smacked by 30-40 points in 1 of the games. I traded Aflalo and Shannon Brown for Ray Allen and it turned my season around.

I agree on the centers posting up business, i usually reach in and then force them baseline but even when they are there they can score rather easily, not as unguardable as when they decide to pull a turn around J..

This was in My Player mode, but I was playing against the Thunder, and Kendrick Perkins was hitting 12 foot turn-around jumpers. Needless to say, I lost the game.

Question for anyone, how much improvement in ratings do you see in your roster via daily practices on your off days?

Yeah he hits them too. It gets really annoying in My Player because I can't guard the Center/Power Forward

But as far as practices go, On average I see about a +2 in overall ratings. Over time, guys ratings naturally get higher with progression, team chemistry and development. For example, Brandon Roy is naturally an 87 in my Association, but it shows 89 because my chemistry is at 100% and my guys get +2. Also, your players' Potential determines how much better they will get and how quickly they get better

Hall of Fame is super gay. They don't miss. I dropped 21 3's with my team and still lost. 60% on 3pt as a team.

    Ray had 38
    Conley had 30

Ray dropped 5 3's at the end of the game to try and tie it up but they won by 2. Can't wait till Conley gets even better so I can drop a 100 with him.

Ray went up to 84 overall
Conley is at 82 / 83 (keeps moving back and forth)
Marc Gasol almost at 80, same with Ariza and Ibaka.
