You are missing the point. Obviously, team records aren't going to be as good against the best teams as they are against the worst teams. However, the argument of East v. West includes BOTH very good teams and very poor teams. I don't see how these statistics prove my statement any less valid.

I will also note that a team may have been in the top 8 when the Cavs played them (Golden State and Portland, for example) and have since dropped out. To me, it is how well a team is playing at the time of the game, not how well they are playing now.

If we really want to start splitting hairs like this, the Cavs are 2-0 against the Lakers.

Pretty much. I don't believe in one or two recent games determining who's going to win this award.

Richardson is a very good player. I don't think you'd find one Bobcats fan who would deal him straight up for Ben Wallace and be happy about it. He isn't considered a disgrace to his franchise (what many Cavs fans have said). He doesn't have a website asking him to stop taking so many dumb shots. None of that stuff. Hughes, on the other hand, was considered by Cavs fans to be an absolute scrub who was hurting the team more than helping.

He also would occasionally have a superb game, which made us even madder, because we would wonder why he couldn't duplicate that kind of performance more than once-a-month.

The tragedy with Hughes isn't that he is a bad player... it is that he teases you, often times, with a great game, only to revert back to the brick layer that he is 99% of the time.

He is actually shooting a lower percentage in Chicago than he did in Cleveland. That is sad and I feel for Bulls' fans (honestly... I do) that they have to put up with his arse.
