With the 25th pick, the Broncos select
Jerel Worthy, DT, Michigan State
The Broncos are set with pass rushers in Miller and Dumervil, but need help in the middle at DT. I debated giving Peyton Manning another weapon in Stanford TE Fleener, but the Broncos' biggest weakness on defense is up front, in the middle. With Worthy, they get a player with a ton of potential, but someone who was at times inconsistent in college. He will always demand attention from the opponents' OL. Explosive at the snap. He's better at stopping the run than rushing the passer, and that's what the Broncos need.
