It is a shame, though, because it is a really great song.
I think I'm going to learn to play this summer (my brother gave me his old Martin which I may have posted on here before lol) and I think I'm going to try my hardest to avoid scenarios like that.

Definitely get into it. I can't imagine life without my trusty D-28, at this point... By far the best 'hobby' ever and a great stress reliever. What kind of Martin is your bro giving you?

They are really the Rolls Royce of acoustic guitars.

Like many other great Beatles songs it's full of subtle and no so subtle references.

I feel like this song really encompasses what they were all about. In my opinion the greatest band ever.
I love A Day in the Life. I might disagree slightly on the seamless transition part, though... In between the stylistic mashup, they take you through a whirlpool of orchestral madness that really serves as the song's bridge. Don't get me wrong.... Fantastic twist. But, they definitely make it clear 'this is John's part' and 'this is Paul's part.'

Good to see you back in the OTC, btw.

I think its someting like a D15M just from googling it. Beautiful guitar. We went to their factory years ago and it was awesome to tour with the people that made them.

I really wanted to re-learn piano but we recently moved and got rid of ours. I really want to learn jazz piano.

Thanks man. Are you excited for FF? Should we going to up the ante a bit? I wonder if everyone will join the league that participated last year? Everyone seemed to really enjoy myself (I know I did). The league was literally drama free minus that idiot mongoloid and really well run/active/everything was good. You were an excellent co-commissioner.

Oh, man... I'd also love to get back into piano. My parents made me take lessons as a kid... I hated it. Now, I really wish I would have stuck with it.

But, if you have a background in piano, you will find the guitar much easier to pick up. It isn't that the instruments are anything alike, but the dexterity that you learn playing the piano really helps with the axe... Especially for beginners.

I'm definitely excited and I'm all-in for upping the ante (maybe we could give weekly payouts if people are willing to spend a little more). The one thing that is scaring me, though, is this lockout. It could really hurt Fantasy Football.

Even putting the fact that there may not be a season aside (which is unlikely), it is going to be really hard to put together a league with so much uncertainty... And draft dates, etc.

They really need to make a deal.

And now that you mention FF, i'll want to join even if you ante up. That's if you have a spot in that league cause if previous members wanna continue then they get the spot and who knows what will happen with the CBA. My effort in prime's league was shameful cause I winged the draft but I at least pulled a couple nice deals to make my team respectable by getting Mike Wallace.

I'm very confident a deal will be struck long before we're even participating in fantasy mock drafts on ESPN. I definitely like the idea of overhauling the payout system but we'd need to up the ante (as you noted).

You got Mike Wallace from me, lol.

I can't remember if I won that league or not. I think I lost in the finals.

Brag: I won 5 of 6 leagues I participated in last year (all of the money leagues) and cashed out almost 4k when all was said and done

And you tried to rob me outta Kyle Orton before the season by offer me Jacoby Jones for him and I rejected that shit lol. I just didn't do much predraft research cause I had very little money on the lihe this year and ended up drafting Juston Forsett and other very bad picks.

Can't fault a player for trying. IIRC I drafted Kevin Kolb and ended up picking up Vickdog off the WW.

Yeah, I think Kolb is basically th reason you traded me Wallace. Pretty sure you raped the WW in that league tho.

I really hope they reach an agreement, not only because football is my favorite sport to watch but because I did FF for the first time last season and it was awesome. Led the league from week 4 and out, finished second. Not too bad, but it was a simplified league where you just pick team defenses.

In our money league, this guy got Vick, Hillis, Stevie Johnson, Tamme, Vincent Jackson (the reason he beat me in the semis)... All off of waivers.

F#cking sickening. I may be leaving someone out.
